Is Blogging the New Brand Craze?

Three or four years ago, I got bored.  Acting jobs were scarce and the bills were not slowing down.  Chile’, bills don’t care whether you have a job or not.  They are like, excuse me diva, if not paid by due date, you will be charged a fee!!!

So, with some encouragement, I began blogging about any and everything.  Needless to say, that didn’t work out so well.  Ultimately, I had to become specific about where and what I wanted to lend my voice to.

When I was a little girl, my mother would tell me story after story about her favorite movie stars.  Those films and stars left such vivid impressions on my mother that she literally became my own personal A&E Biographer…lol.  So, it is no surprise that her love of film transferred down to me!  My AHA moment was born!  Blogging about my favorite films, new releases, film festivals and of course, THE OSCARS would become my blogging passion.

Little did I know that blogging would land me on major red carpets, roundtables, press junkets, a freelance gig with NPR, Co-Host of an online film review show with AfterBuzz Media, major film festivals and the press room/red carpet at The Oscars.

So, if you have a blog already…what could do to make it more interesting?

What goals do you have for all that time, energy and effort you are spending?

Is blogging a hobby?

Do you have a schedule on how often you want your info to post?

What would exceed your wildest dreams of creating a blog?
